Vol. 7 No. 10 (2025): Deflection and Humanitarian Justice: An Innovative Strategy to Strengthen Rule of Law and SDGs in UN Peacekeeping Missions

This article explores how integrating deflection programs, which prioritize health and rehabilitation over punishment, can enhance rule of law reforms and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in post-conflict environments. Using international case studies and policy analysis, it positions deflection as an effective tool to reduce recidivism, ease judicial burdens, and improve community trust in UN peace operations.
