Senior Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad del Rosario (Bogota, Colombia). His research program involves the basic and applied psychology of associative learning, within which he is developing the Observatory of Self-Medication Behavior. He is a psychologist (with Honors Degree, 1996) graduated from the National University of Colombia and PhD in Psychology (with thesis Cum Laude by Unanimity, 2001) from the University of Seville (Spain) under the direction of Santiago Benjumea Rodriguez and Jose I. Navarro Guzman. He obtained his doctorate thanks to the Mutis Scholarship of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation. He made two postdoctoral stays at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas, USA, 2007) and at the University of Talca (Talca, Chile, 2008).

He has worked continuously as a teacher and researcher in applied sciences, in the field of space technology. He has worked extensively in human rights advocacy with marginalized communities in regions of armed conflict and military occupation. He is currently a member of an international accompaniment organization that supports communities and leaders at high risk based in Colombia.

Sociologist specialized in labor rights of forced displaced persons, she works in the defense of human rights of marginalized communities, mainly on issues related to the workplace and community development. She is currently the Lead Organizer of the National TPS Alliance. Her research currently focuses on the sociology of transnational political participation of immigrants in New York and in their countries of origin. A graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, she received her doctoral degree from the Department of Sociology at Stony Brook University.

Member of the International Scientific Committee of the Observatory of Self-medication Behaviors of the Universidad del Rosario, Bogotá, Colombia. Researcher of the Department of Research and Educational Development of the Institute of Research and Professional Training of Don Bosco University, El Salvador.

Salvadoran anthropologist, linguist, literary critic and writer. With a PhD in Linguistics from the Sorbonne University, his work has been recognized with the National Culture Award and the distinction of "Notable Anthropologist of El Salvador" by the Salvadoran Parliament. He has served as a professor in Mexico, France, Costa Rica, El Salvador and the United States in various subjects including Spanish and French literature, Latin American culture and literature, Central American literature, Latin American literary historiography, linguistics, anthropology, and semiotics, among others. He is also a member of several cultural associations, including: the International Institute of Ibero-American Literature, the Mexican Society of Anthropology, the Society for Latin American Studies, and the Society for the Psychoanalysis of Culture and Society.

Master of Science, in the field of Public Mental Health from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, he is also a Social Anthropologist from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia. Currently, he develops qualitative research in mental health, specifically working directly with people who use psychoactive substances, both in controlled clinical settings, groups and associations of mutual help, as well as in recreational contexts where there is substance use. He is a PhD candidate at the Universidad Autónoma de México.
