We are delighted to inform you that last October the Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) decided to accredit the Knowmad Institut with observer status as an international non-governmental organization.

WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property (IP) services, policy, information, and cooperation. It is a self-financing agency of the United Nations with 192 member states.

Its mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international IP system that enables innovation and creativity for the benefit of all. Its mandate, governing bodies and procedures are embodied in the WIPO Convention, established in 1967.
