RETHINK
ALLIANCE
The Rethink Alliance arises as an initiative to promote the Knowmad Consensus and the multidisciplinary process of knowledge management and intergenerational collaboration that this implies.
All interested organizations can demonstrate their commitment and interest in the debate on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its profound implications for the privacy and dignity of modern societies by participating in the Rethink Alliance and disseminating this process.
The members of the alliance are profiled as thought leaders and promoters of a process that will facilitate the rethinking from science and research of the diverse implications of the fourth industrial revolution for privacy and human dignity.
The RETHINK ALLIANCE has been designed under the concept of Multi-Stakeholder Alliances, erected as one of the main institutional instruments for the improvement of local, national and international capacities in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
More precisely, SDG 17 contemplates two specific goals in which the RETHINK ALLIANCE aims to contribute:
Target 17.16 Enhance the global partnership for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals in all countries, in particular developing countries.
Target 17.17 Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships
