Have you ever wondered how we can build a fairer, more sustainable future? At the Knowmad Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies on Human Rights and Science, we are dedicated to linking the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the innovative vision of knowmads, those digital migrants and natives worldwide. Through intergenerational collaboration, knowledge management, and the preservation of human dignity, we work together towards a common goal.
The 17 SDGs represent an urgent call to action by all countries within a global partnership framework. They acknowledge that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand in hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and stimulate economic growth, all the while combating climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the SDGs offer a shared plan for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
For the objectives of the 2030 Agenda to become a reality, it is crucial that all stakeholders, including civil society, academia, the private sector, governments, and international organizations, take on a strong commitment and work in collaboration to adopt sustainable practices, implement sustainable policies, and achieve global goals. At the Knowmad Institute, we reaffirm our commitment to facilitating this collaboration.
