We are thrilled to announce that Knowmad Institut has officially signed the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, reaffirming our commitment to transparency and accessibility in science. This new allegiance complements our existing endorsements of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) and our membership in the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), further bolstering our support for an open science ecosystem.

A cornerstone of our open science ecosystem is the Knowmad Research Gateway, a critical node in the global scientific information network that ensures our research data and findings are accessible to all, adhering to the principle of “as open as possible, as closed as necessary.”

Furthermore, our Journal JMSHRS, which operates under the Diamond Open Access model, enables free publication and access without transferring costs to authors or readers. This model is essential for fostering equitable participation in science, allowing researchers worldwide to share their discoveries without financial barriers.
